Data Validation an Essential Tool in Excel for Accuracy

Today, we’re exploring data validation, a feature that allows you to control the type of data entered into your cells. Feel free to skip this edition for those already familiar with Data Validation.

Without further ado, let’s dive in and see how Data Validation can make your spreadsheets more accurate and user-friendly, one cell at a time!

The process is as follows,

1. Open Excel and Select the First column of Data

2. Go to “Data” and Click on “Data Validation”

3. Choose Validation Criteria to “Text Length” and set the Limit in this case it’s 5 to 25.

4. Give it a Title and set a Message

5. Follow the similar process for “Time”. Follow the shown process:
